I bought this one in 1998 and it's never missed a tick. Original battery and capacitor. I have others, more modern -never a problem. I just keep them near a window where the get plenty of light.

Love the style, looks a lot like certina i picked up recently👍 I heard you have to keep the eco drives out, all my other watches go in boxes but leave that one out by the window

I've had my 2 Eco-Drive watches for years, and must say I've not had an ounce of bother. Never had to adjust the time, just slap it on my wrist and head out the door 💪😎.

Like Foghorn says, just let them see the light wherever they are resting and enjoy them.

My watches all live in a box with a see-through glass lid, so maybe that's the way forward with the solar models. Keeps the dust off them, but allows the charge to remain at full.

An Eco-Drive should be in everyone's collection, just because they're so damn brilliant. It's on my list, for sure. Glad everyone's been pleased with theirs. 👍

I really like my 2 Citizens with eco drive, I have a chronograph from maybe the early 2000s and the wild promaster released last year. The chrono basically keeps time with my mb6 g shock, it's that accurate.

When the bombs stop falling the cockroaches will be telling the time on our old eco-drives' 🤣🤣 they just last and last

Over a year with my eco drive and i have no complaints 😀

Own 2 one is a chronograph the other an Excalibur went through the washing machine damage,= scratch on glass which polywatch sorted out.domt hesitate to buy
