Vintage Seiko Pogue Update

This afternoon finished off this lovely vintage Pogue from 1976.

Full service, new crystal, gaskets and mainspring arbor’s jewelled.

Ready for another mission to the moon.

Very nice and clean dial. I think it's the first time that I noticed the tachymeter bezel which features a slightly different scale from what is commonly found on other chronographs. Here the scale extend to from 250 to 50Km/H, which makes it more useful for timing commonly moving objects.

Well done! A very handsome watch!

Great job. I should send my dad’s over for the same treatment.

Wow that so cool. I hope one day I’m that good and have fun servicing my watches!

Such a cool-looking watch and great servicing update, I always love watches that have an inner track on the dial

Beautiful. I am looking to get one, how much would a good service cost on one of these?

If you can try and get an original unmolested one there are many out there with aftermarket parts. Servicing cost would be around 300 US dollars this would include a replacement crystal and barrel arbor jewelling done. I can keep my servicing costing down as I work from home but a repair shop would most likely charge more.
