Nice my friend ๐
I've thought about this recently and worked out it comes from my mum's cousin who worked in The Oman back in the seventies. He would visit maybe twice a year and I was always fascinated by his enormous colourful watch. My dad had a tiny Tudor from the fifties but cousin Hugh's big shiny watch with the numbers around the edge was something else. Only recently did it chime with me that it was a Pepsi 1675.

Nice that my friend not seen that model before, good that we still like the watches that triggered us means are styles not changed that much,I just wouldn't want the diamonds and preferably white metal but that's an even bigger reach than a gold daydate,go hard or go home though one day I'll never say never to anything ๐
Snoop needs to outshine with a Richard Mille . So far only rich Formula 1 drivers wear them suckers . Snoop would probably get paid to wear it .
Uncle Al wore a Gold Omega constellation with white pants and flaired colourful paisly hippy shirts and Julius Marlo slip ons in tobacco leather . He was a cool cat . No celebrities required.

You look like lots of my mates back in the say , one mate Karl B was the first dude to have an 8 โ pink mow-hawk and black with his Buzzcocks T shirt . I liked Kraftwerk in the bowl ๐ your also brave doing railing grinds , that's wicked mad ๐
I loved watches growing up, lost my favorite when I was on the lake and kinda left it there for a while. Years later my dad gave a fossil watch he had laying around, I tore the stem out of it unloading the car. I had enjoyed wearing the watch on my trip so when it broke I was upset, and thinking it would be expensive to have it repaired I might as well just look into another watch and I realized โwait a minuteโฆ I could probably find an affordable mechanical watch!โ have been falling ever since.
Some reason your last message isn't loading, let me read most on my email got to buzzcocks ๐คฃmy uncle was famous in Manchester for having the first mowhawk and getting his full school to strike was in the paper, years later him and some of his friends went on strike on the roof of Manchesters prison strangeways and threw tiles at police,so he did learn something from school ๐คฃ๐ฌ

I'm not going to look at your watches yet did these experiences shape your collection today ie robust water proof tool watches, unbreakable tanks or something with GPS so can't be lost ๐ค
For me it was the day date of Bonez Mc, a German rapper. Then I just wanted to know which watches all the rappers talk about and the rabbit hole sucked me in ๐

In the early 2000s, it seems Tag Heuer was the rage and every other athlete, actor and music artist was wearing oneโฆ so yeah, that definitely was my trigger and I ended up buying this formula1 in 2009 and love it to this day ๐คโค๏ธ

Nice that my friend funny because I was only telling someone today that tag used to wear the crown in the 90s like rolex is the name now and how short people's memories are ๐คฃ๐
I developed an interest as a child in the 1960s after watching my grandfather and uncles huddled around the dinner table admiring each other's watches. That was my first introduction to Rolex and Omega and I just thought they looked so shiny and magical!

That's cool my friend I love to hear stories about families getting people into watches inspiring little ones for the future and handing down watches, don't think there's a better thing to hand down on a sentimental level or am I just bias because I love watches and would have loved that for myself ๐คฃI didn't live that dream but I've more than made sure my children are ๐
