This is a pretty lively sport watch. But, do you have any favorite Collab watches?

Seiko Sunday with the new Seiko 5 Sports Limited Edition Rowing Blazers collab watch, SRPJ63. Out of the 4 available colors, I like this black dial with the multicolor indexes the most... Coincidentally,I believe the first of the four options to sell out upon release. I actually missed my chance to buy it several times within a couple hours. With some hope and persistence, I just repeatedly refreshed the page until I saw it was not sold out and option to buy was available.

I believe perhaps they were trying to slowly trickle out the inventory so that they could not be so quick to completely sell out to potential hoarders. Regardless, I feel lucky to have been able to get the one I wanted in the end.

Designed by Rowing Blazers Creative Director Jack Carlson and vintage watch expert Eric Wind of Wind Vintage in partnership with Seiko.

This unique 888 pieces (per color) limited edition version of the "DressKX" is a fun versatile sports watch with its comfy proportions at 40mm (W) x 11.5mm (H) x 44.6mm (L2L).. at least this black dial version is, despite the colorful accents. The included 2nd strap option (not shown here) is a nice bonus with matching multicolored striped NATO-style strap. I'll be sure to show that off in my next post with this watch So you can see.

This is the only one I've bought.  Worn and Wound collab with Seiko for Worn and Wound 10th anniversary.

That is a cool one. I had a Worn & Wound limited edition, also. It was an Autodromo Group B. It was a matte titanium with grey dial and light blue accents. As cool as it was, for some odd reason I wasn't head over heels for it and returned it. Sort of regret it, but, oh, well..  there will always be other watches to want and get.

Seiko usually turns out nice collarbs. This looks great and they just released the Super Cub collab with Honda that sold out quickly.

·

My only collab piece is this.

It’s a collaboration between microbrand RZE and edc specialists Big Idea Design. A titanium solar powered field watch that also comes as an automatic.

RZE makes subs good watches. And, prices are reasonable for what you're getting I think.

Score on that Seiko 5!  That one you got is the one RB model I’ve been most tempted on.    Good to know they release it slowly to foil the hoarders a bit! 👍
You bought from the RB site directly?

·

Not Seiko, but Bremont x Bamford...

Yes, from RB site. I believe Hodinkee and Seiko USA were also selling some, but looked to be completely sold out but maybe al1 or 2 of the other dial colors.

I agree completely an as an edc enthusiast I’m a big fan of Big Idea Design so couldn’t say no to this.

Seiko has had plenty of very cool collabs over the years, arguably, the most bold and well imagined, especially the JDMs.

My all time favorite are the Giugiaro Design and the latest Kawamura. The Nano Universe were pretty cool as well.

Street Fighter RYU x 5kx is still in my mind 😬😬😬

Can't tell u many hours.. no maybe years I put into playing SF2 in the actual arcades, as well as home when it came to SNES, at its height during the early 90s. For me, I would have picked the Guile 5KX as that was my main fighter.

I have a solid “no collaboration“ rule that I follow. I’ve never regretted sticking to it.

Best looking one of this release set of 4. I debate between this and the Honda Cub green one. All are very fun and easy to wear watches :) congrats on it

·

I think this model sold. out in a few hours, I really like this one in particular, lucky you !!! enjoy

It may be too late now for these watches to try. Perhaps next time.. maybe near end of next year they may make another RB limited edition.

I was taking a chance since everytime I was notified the item was back in stock via email, I was already sold out, again, by the time I went back to the page to try and buy it.

That's why I speculated that the available stock was possibly slowly being released as for not be bought up by a few individuals or otherwise completely sold out at the early beginning.

Instead of waiting for email notification, again, I just repeatedly refreshed page until finally it happened. I didn't even bother to go through the normal check out and just went straight to pay through PayPal.
