Definitely a true set and forget watch.
If accuracy is the game, Grand Seiko is the name. At about 3 months since I last reset the watch, it has not deviated at all. With no date, I only have to set this watch twice a year because of DST. Other than that, it will always be ready to go. I admire the fact this is done completely internally by the well-built high quality 9F61 quartz movement inside. No external assistance via Bluetooth nor radio signals. Barring a battery change maybe every 2-3 years, the hermetically sealed movement is said to not need a service for about 50 years.
I got inspired recently by some YouTube videos to bring my Grand Seiko SBGX115 back into rotation today. I'm giving it some wrist time on a silver green ribbed NATO-style strap from CNS Watch Bands. The lume in the applied indices and handset can have a slight greenish tint to them when it's been out in the daylight. As such, it works with the grey green tone of the strap... Almost like an extremely light shade of the strap color.

Yeah. If you know what GS has done to make the movement, it's pretty impressive and makes a lot of sense for a serious tool watch to be running a solid reliable accurate quartz movement over a mechanical automatic.
I've been on that watch journey from quartz in my early youth before my 20s, then discovered and rediscovered mechanical and automatic watches and that was the main prerequisite of watches in my collection, then come back around to appreciate it all. I have room in my collection and heart to enjoy both these days.
Looks great. Just another example of how well GS does almost everything they set out to do.
