Spec monster for $55!!
I am unapologetically an extremely logical person. If something doesn't make sense to me, it's very hard for me to comply to it. But, on that same note, It's very difficult for me to see this JHLu GMT and not press the buy button.
This GMT watch is spec'd way above it's price. Let me break it down...
1. Stainless steel case
2. Lumed hands and indices
3. Dome sapphire crystal
4. Deployment micro adjust clasp
5. NH34(Seiko) GMT movement
6. 42mm case size
7. 20mm Lug width
8. Rotating GMT bezel
9. Homage dial and style(Rolex Explorer 2)
...I mean...?! Logic says, If I like the mechanics and the operation of watches I would be silly not to (at least) think of buying this piece. I get it, it's a clear doppelganger of a popular design, but let me add some more context.
1. NH34 GMT movement: $50-$80
2. Stainless steel case+bracelet: $50-$100
3. Dial+hands: $25-$50
4. Deployment Adjustable Clasp: $15-$25
So, to build this watch it would cost $140-$255...

No, for sure. The decision was simple. @PlayboyReloj is right tho, I'm crossing my fingers that the QC is decent. If the movement works it's worth it lol. I can just build my own GMT with it.
That's the rub. Will it be a garbage fire? If the movement works it would be worth it. I've seen the NH34 selling for $80 on CrystalTimes.com.

If I extract the movement and just swap the clasp onto one of my other watches it would still be worth it. I feel like I'm stealing lol.

They sent me this POS. I guess I'm not super surprised, but wow! This thing is not even close to acceptable. I requested a refund. Sometimes "to good to be true" is just that. ☹️☹️☹️

There's another store selling these "JHLU" watches on AliExpress, and if you look at the reviews of all but one of the watches they sell, there are pictures from "buyers" showing their watch with Rolex or Omega branding. I reported one of them yesterday and just received this notification:
The link is indeed gone. So now I reported the 5 other watches they're selling, all but the one that doesn't have a review. I know that they seller will likely create another store on AliExpress, but at least he or she will have to create all their listings again. 🍻
