I now get the hype for this G-Shock 2100
So today I received this Casio G-Shock 2100 which I got on sale for $49($110 retail), and immediately took off the watch I was wearing(Seiko SRPE51) and popped this one on. I did have to look up a video on how to set the time, but a few minutes later I was off to the races. I really like this design. I own a G-Shock GWM5610 and I'm now torn between my favorite. I know this model is extremely popular but I always thought it would look too big on my 6.5in wrist. I think it looks just fine.
So, no surprise, I like a watch that millions of other people like. If you think this Casco G-Shock may be too large for your wrist, get one and try it out. You can always return it.
Newbie on a mission to get all I can out of this beautiful watch journey. My philosophy is that life is too short to not pay attention to the passing of time.

Casios/G-Shocks are the potato chips of the watch world -- you can't have just one. Also the Jell-O - There's always room for Casio. 😂

I keep looking at the Casioaks but haven't pulled the trigger on one yet. Just tend to gravitate towards the full digitals in regards to Casio...come on y'all, convince me I need one! Lol

There's something cool about seeing the hour and minute hands spinning into place when setting the time using some other functions. The dial has an distinctive G-Shock look and the mod possibilities are endless.Shoot your shot!
Would you suggest the standard model, or step up to the Bluetooth/solar models?

Great watch ! It deserves its success. Plus, it looks absolutely fine on your wrist. That's the beauty of this design : despite the measurements, it wears incredibly well, even on smaller wrists than yours.
