MoonSwatch online holdup?

Someone bought the omega-moonswatch [dot] com Domain.  Based upon the fact that Omega is petitioning WIPO to take it away, it is almost definitely a squatter.

This may be why we can't buy MoonSwatch online yet.

I'd doubt it. Swatch could sell it through their current website if they wanted. It's just them protecting their IP

Yes, and also, it would be very easy to spoof availability on that domain and rake in a whole bunch when actual online sales go live.  In fact, it would be a great way to sell replicas which we know are already available. I'll also mention that the domain currently resolves to shopify already ;)

To be fair, having seen loads of online reviews, I'm now really glad I was unable to waste my money on the pile of poop that is the MoonSwatch.  If I could've got one on the day, I probably would've, but not now, no chance.

I gave up on the MoonSwatch. I rather get the real deal. I already found way better watches for that price.

The initial hype got me right in, but the lack of follow through from them and every decision they've made has just made me save for a second hand real one. Really terrible marketing ploy to get everyone excited for something nobody could have.

Also, I live in a major capital city and the Swatch shop here closed down a few years ago, so my only hope is to get on a plane? To buy a plastic watch? Forget it Swatch.

Right on! Im so upset with Swatch my friend has Earth one and he's  lucky to buy one. After trying it on feels like a dam plastic happy meal toy.

I have a Speedy Pro, but I really fancied the Mars MoonSwatch, but having read all the horror story reviews with the case colour coming off, misaligned chrono, fused crystal, etc, I’m glad I couldn’t get it.
