New Seiko Panda "SEITONA" (BIGGER IS BETTER???)

[SSC911 VS SSC817]

So I just picked up the newly re-released "SEITONA" 41MM SSC911, even though I already had owned the previous iteration of the same watch; the SSC817 39mm. I did end up selling the SSC817 since it never quite seemed right on my huge 8.5inch bear claw; felt great though. So now that Seiko released a bigger 41mm version, I knew that was the watch for me. Sure enough, I love it, fits great, looks great, and most importantly, it makes me happy. So I guess size does mater, thus, "bigger is better." Lol 🤔😂

I just don’t think that’s so big for a chrono. I think people get tied up in size without considering the actual watch. For a dress watch, or “every day” watch, this might be a little big. But for a chrono or diver, where legibility under less than ideal conditions, or with time constraints is key, bigger is better. Obviously, everybody should wear what they like, I just think it’s a shame people write off certain watches due to size.

I Agree I love that style of watch and typically for me 40mm is just the right size but bigger most certainly can be better, I have the sugess top chronometer and it's a beautiful watch with an outstanding movement but a couple more mms would make it about perfect for me
