I am just starting to appreciate a good watch and am looking at getting the Tissot PRX as my first proper watch. Yet it is not protected from magnetis...
I considered the PR100 but discovered the older and discontinued PR50, which dial I like so much better than I can no longer consider the PR100. Strange, I know....
Looking at the recently announced PRX Chronograph, I can't help but wonder if the current leadership there is trying to push the brand a little more up market. I gotta admit their previous releases were pretty bland but the newer releases since PRX and Gentleman are rather interesting. Tissot to me, is unassuming but it is exactly such modesty that I like about it.

It's always so nice to read a watch story that is about connection instead of specs or prestige. Some of us just want to wear a modest but reliable timepiece.
Nothing stupid about that decision. One day you will inherit your father's watch and your son can have yours, until he inherit the heirloom. It's a beautiful connection.
I like the Enterprise, which is just shy of 1k at 999. My thoughts was that is a pretty slim watch when we consider the tritium tubes, it's advertised shock and magnetism resistance, all in a 904L (if not mistaken) stainless steel. So I was very impressed. My budget is limited, this is as high as I am willing to pay.

I rarely look at that direction but it is a beautiful watch (I just checked online). Not something I could wear comfortably although I definitely would if I inheririt it, with the caveat that I would keep another beater watch as my everyday.
Thanks. Indeed I read that it is no big deal but I rather not have to demagnetize my watch every month or so, or bring a demagnetizer everytime I fly (not often though). I am relieved to hear you never have an issue.
