The Stealthy 5167A

Any 5167a fans?  This is a very easy to love piece. (hype aside), …it is a stealth piece and extremely comfortable.  Hopefully not at risk of losing an arm over.  Most do not know what it is anywa.   Dresses up, dresses down.  and after having the 5164 and the 5167, I’ve realized I appreciate the simplicity of the three hander better.  Good day watchfam!

Beautiful watch and seems perfect for almost every occasion.  This is on my grail list…

Beautiful watch, but I'm not sure "stealthy" can be applied to any PP sport reference, these days.

Grail watch🔥

I never understood the appeal in the past, but I have to say that both the Aquanaut and the Nautilus are starting to grow on me.  I agree that the simplicity of the 3 hander is more appealing, but it would be even more appealing without the date (or at least with the date at 6 o'clock). The Travel Time would also be more attractive in my opinion if it used a regular date display rather than the subdial.

That grey dial and strap is stunning.

Agreed - ”stealthy” is not the word. I think we are all supposed to shut up and admire though.

I would disagree…I think those are extremely stealthy. (Aquanaut more so than Nautilus simply because of the rubber strap)

Sure, everyone on a watch collecting message board knows what it is, but Patek Philippe is not a household name.

The majority of the world knows Rolex, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, etc.  A very small percentage of people know what Patek, VC, A. Lange, etc. are.

I’d be willing to bet that you could wear this watch every day for a year and you you could count the number of people who “knew what it was” on one hand.  A Submariner would get much more attention because almost everyone knows Rolex.

Stealthy - sure, in terms of brand recognition by the average, non-watch person POV. But as a big, shiny object on the wrist - prob not very stealthy. I guess it depends what you wear it with.

Wear in good health and take care!

Wear that in any major city and that losing an arm thing could come true. There are more and more instances of watch robbery lately. that one boxer is down a RM lately

Barely visible (not a gold Pres) but I feel ya 👊🏾

Dont see a 5167 as a RM.…it slips easily under a cuff.  Not sticking out like a RM or Rolex.  but we all must have situational awareness …Cant live in fear. 🍻

I’m a big fan of no dates, but for some reason on this watch it just seems right.  🍻

Well said! 👌🏾🍻 very few ever know what it is except watch geeks.  There aren’t a lot of out there, depending on your city.  just doesn’t demand much attention.

What do you do for a living?

Grail watch!!!!

A Rolex Submariner Ref. 6538 would be my preferred stealthy beast; not sure why - but I'm not into any modern watch ^^ - vintage watches all the way ( especially "movie" watches )

Nice flex attempt bucko, but don't worry, you'll be as cool as me one day.

The funny thing is based on the cars and watches @JourneID has, this is the least flex he could have done here :).

You should check out his Instagram. An amazing collection of watches!

My favorite Aqua is the 5165, for the same reasons you like it, just smaller 😊.
