Vintage Sunday

Update: New Vintage Band

Vintage Sunday! 1951 Elgin Shockmaster. Deco Lugs, Manual Wind. Serviced to -1 minute per day Original patina on the dial face. It's a little small for a daily wear at 34mm but I enjoy it. Currently in search for a vintage spiedel expandable band. I've had this watch for 35 years.

Looks great.

Who says 34mm is too small for an EDW? Don't listen what others say, wear what you like when you like.

Very nice, love the patina!

Awesome - love old Elgin watches. Them and old Gruen watches can be extremely cool if in decent shape.

Huge vintage Elgin watch fan! Beautiful piece 🔥

That is a fantastic looking watch. Those Deco lugs are killer looking. Love the patina on the dial.

What a GORGEOUS watch! 👍

34 is not small. I have an ATP enicar that is 30 mm. It works on my large wrist. Love the lugs on your Elgin.

Love the look! This was my grandfather's Elgin. Still working today.

Very classy, I love it! That style of small second dials were popular in the 50's. Here is my 1955 Marvin, manual wound, caliber 540. Cheers!
