Another mid century vintage watch
Just a 1960s cheapie I picked up on eBay.
Needs a little cleaning and polishing tlc but is in otherwise good shape. Inside is a manual winding 1 jewel Massy movement thats keeping surprisingly good time.
It’ll spend a little time in the JonInAtl watch spa getting cleaned up before going into rotation. It’s unique and I quite like it.

Yes I think it’s a stylized sphinx. A very odd one actually. I believe the 25 is the model number since I can’t find any other designation on it. It definitely isn’t the jewel count. I love the look of the bracelet. I don’t know if it’s original but it’s a perfect match for the dial if it isn’t.
This is very cool. If I had more knowledge, I would buy actual vintage and tinker with the watches more. Looks fantastic- hope it continues to run well ✌️
