1962 asymmetric goodness

I love the look of Art deco and mid century modern so when I came across this piece I had to add it to my small collection. Although the dial shows just the slightest bit of wear, the white gold case is nearly perfect. Even the highly domed crystal has survived.

Watch came serviced with a year warranty and is keeping excellent time.

I couldn’t be happier with it.

Love it!

I normally don't go for the diamonds on the dial thing, but for this I would make an exception. Really nice.

This is a very rare case of jeweled indices that don't bother me. I was thinking that they'd could've aligned the crown to the case, but the small seconds prevents merely rotating the dial, unless you want that cocked off at some skew angle. Oh, and it's not a round movement anyway, so never mind.

Love it, wish I could wear those little watches sometime.

Thank you! It’s one of those rare cases where my small 6.25” waist size actually works in my favor 🙂

It's beautiful! A LeCoultre movement won't let you down. The gold case still being intact is great; I know many gold watches didn't survive the numerous economic crises over the years, as grandad's watch case was usually first to go (some were sold and many were melted down and recased) when a family needed some extra cash.

Enjoy it and wear it often!

I have a soft spot for asymmetry, and this is in a lovely condition 👍

Awesome looking.

I love the architecture of the movement. Very nice find. Congrats.

I'm a fan but these watches don't work well with my wrist size. If you like this one you would like the grasshopper as well. One was passed down to me and I passed it along....
