It happened to me with my Garmin, but replacements are cheap enough for it not to be a problem
This doesn't just happen one day. It happens at a glacial scale with the appearance of cracks being noticeable way ahead of any danger of true failure.
Cheap to replace with original or buy a pair of adapters (£9.99) and fit a nato or Zulu for piece of mind
