Quartz Chronographs

Am I the only one that notices that the chrono second hands of quartz chronographs tend to "wander"? Sometimes not returning to the same 12 o'clock position after resetting, or even not staying put during the day. It's either a glitch in the Matrix or the mechanism might be so affected by temperature or gravity that it affects the hand position. It's driving my OCD nuts. I dunno. Your thoughts?

(Before people start saying it's parallax, no, it's not.)

Haven’t had that happen before but I would be disturbed too if I saw that.

My quartz chrono has one dial that resets to 30 seconds. At least it looks symmetrical.

I have had quartz chronos where very occasionally the second hand will not reset to zero. A lot of quartz movements let you adjust the reset point for the chrono, usually with the crown pulled out if you push the start pusher it will increment the second hand forward by one step. It certainly should not be moving by itself during the day though.

I am familiar with this hand setting. But surely my watch chrono hand moves slightly during the day.

Pics please or it didn't happen.

That’s why I’m not a big fan of Chronographs but at least I have one.

I have a Citizen chrono from their signature collection (now discontinued). It always resets perfectly at 12.
