Frank Forta Canadian MicroBrand

This is a new MicroBrand from Canada. The watch is one of 4 versions inspired by the various seasonal colour changes of Rocky Mountain Glacial Lakes (such as Maligne Lake in Jasper National Park and Moraine Lake in Banff National Park, both in Alberta, Canada). It is also very affordable. The colour here is ‘Emerald’. The other colours are: Azure, Teal and Turquoise.

It’s pretty intricate!

·

Is this the factory bracelet or did it come on something different?

·

That caseback is enough of a reason to own one.

·

How is one supposed to choose a color? Because all four are delectable. Maybe that's why they're priced so affordably: so that people will stop wrestling with the tough decision and just buy them all. I know that's my inclination.

·

Ha! I just chose my favourite!

·

Stunning range of watches! Are any of our North American cousins prepared to sponsor me so I can get a few? 🤣

This is the factory bracelet. I like to try new bands, so I try to interchange with other brands or seek new ones, leather or metal.

What's the name of the company?

·

LoL... disregard!

I very much appreciate the gesture, it is very kind of you. I must decline at this time though. More pressing bills are coming due.

·

If it were a 38mm, I'd pick one up. Unfortunately it is just too big for me.

I understand. If anything changes, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

And here I thought you just posted a photo of one of those U.S. national park quarters. What a stunning piece of Canadiana. (Can't complain about seeing C$'s by default on a microbrand website either...)

Yeah, it is! Overall, well done.

Just ordered the Azur dial in titanium. While I lean heavily toward mechanical watches this thing was too good to pass up when you factor in the price. The piece will also add some color to the dress watch side of my collection. Good pull on this one.

I was trying to figure this out from the listing - I'm assuming it's just titanium-coloured stainless steel? Or would titanium really be available for exactly the same price?

Titanium colored

The website says the bracelet is made of “316L Stainless Steel”, so it’s the colouring/shading on the bracelet-Titanium Coloured.

It’s the factory bracelet. Sorry for the late reply.
