Nothing wrong with that at all. Sometimes when I'm flying (PA22-150). I will use a G shock or dive watch (4th hand) or my citizen SkyHawk because I can read the UTC quite clearly. But as long as you tell the time it is by definition, in the circumstances, a pilot's watch.
Love these and will get myself one of these one day. I just wish they made it in quartz with solar and had 00 at the top instead of the erroneous 24 marker.

The Citizen Skyhawk. Solar/Radio, chrono, timer, stop watch, world time zones, three alarms, pilot, AM/PM indicator, UTC, good lume. Can go from the boardroom (just) to the beach with 200 metres WR. Also slide rule so you can do on the fly unit conversions into metric and celcius. Never needs setting and should last a lifetime.
