It's like new again!

I bought this Tag roughly 10 years ago. I wore it every day for roughly 6 years. It was my only watch at the time. I pretty much unintentionally abused it, didn't know any better at the time. I wore it mountain biking, built things with it on, swimming, even mountain climbing a few times with it. It was beat up pretty good. I took it to a jeweler to see if I could trade it in for a new one. They told me it was too beat up for them to sell, so I pretty much figured it was done and threw it in a drawer. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, I pulled it out, gave it a few shakes and to my surprise, it started running and it kept time. So I took it to my local watch maker to see if he could clean it up a little. I wasn't expecting much. Damned if it doesn't look almost new now! There were a few scratches that were too deep to get out, mainly on the clasp, but otherwise looks great (except for my grimy finger prints all over it)!

That watch will likely continue to serve you well for many years to come, provided that you give it the love and attention it needs every now and then, including a good service.

What a great job! Doesn’t even look like they messed with it at all!

Yeah they did a great job, cheers.
