I love the 290. I have 3 of them in the case my first fails or lost and the model is for whatever reason discontinued.
This is the only thing keeping me from loving this watch. I can't get over that design element and it completely ruins it for me.
I wish my happy place was $2-4k.. But as soon as I start looking in that bracket, the 4-6k bracket start being more appetizing. That said, the Sinn 556 A RS is a definite contender for my next watch if my Omega boutique can't pull through on my current plan.
I am.. Unfortunately.. One of those who wears two "watches", 1 on each wrist. Although I do not consider my Garmin fitness tracker a watch, most other people do 🤷♂️.
