GADA - Most Worn 2023

Posted is my response to a near perfect GADA watch and also my most worn for 2023 - the Sinn 105 St Sa. Living in the shadows of the 104 and 556, the 105 is a near perfect GADA. The only place this watch is out of place is in the dressiest of occasions due to lack of intricate case finishing.

However, that same case finishing is what makes it so darn near perfect. Sinn's bead blasted finish hides scratches and scuffs very well and can be easily refinished without rounding of edges or material removal. The bezel is tegimented meaning that for all practical purposes it is scratch proof.

Speaking of the bezel, it is one of the most useful complications in day-to-day life, for me. It functions flawlessly as a 12 hour dual time zone, elapsed time / count down time, psuedo "alarm", and I'm sure other uses I'm ignorant to. The day/date complication is nice to have as well and at the very least unobtrusive unlike so many other day+date watches.

Finally, as the most important criteria any GADA watch must fulfill - it's a strap monster with 20mm lug spacing. Posted is on a recent acquisition the Artem sail cloth with Omega style deployant. The h-link bracelet the watch came on is also highly comfortable and utilitarian.

Don't fear the 41mm stated case size of the Sinn 105! With a lug to lug length of around 47mm It wears much closer to that of a 39mm. 6.5" wrist for reference.

Yeah I've always really liked the 105 and 105 UTC. Have seen them a couple of times in person at my local AD as well. The 105 (non-UTC) is literally the only day-date presentation I actually like.
