Anyone collects Catalogs and Brochures for their watch purchases?

I have a rule to collect the year Catalogs and Brochures of the watches I buy! Do you also collect the year Catalogs and Brochures for your watch purchases?

Not of ones I buy, but I've started requesting whatever ones I can get. They make for great reading, eye candy & photo props

Nah not for me Jae, just the metal!

I thought about collecting the brochures but always just end up collecting the debt. Funny how that happens. 🤔😂

·

I take them from dealers, read through them and put them next to my ultrasonic cleaner. They're kind of like coffee table books.

Although none of them are for watches I buy...

I should have asked everytime I bought a watch.. only one I have is this one

Great idea for luxury pieces.

I personally do not. Then again most of my collection is on the “affordable” end or custom built. Are the catalogs you receive more for information or advertising purposes or both?

They are helpful for information and great pictures! 🍻

Yes! I love collecting books, magazines, brochures, I’m a watch nerd! Or just a nerd in general! Hahaha

·

OMG...I have trouble just finding places to keep the boxes!!!! LOL

·

I pretty much do that... But mostly I have a pile of brochures for the watches I don't have (yet)

·

I have a few collection books! But only one of them is with the watch I bought. No posters tho.

·

I have a small collection of those, wouldn’t mind more.

·

Nope I don't, wow you must have rooms filled them?

·

Hey Jae, don't know how I missed this one! I do collect books from manufacturers
