Hi guys I’m a newbie watch collector. Just want to ask if you guys still find entry level movements to be beautiful? I know higher end watches have better looking, well decorated movements but as a newbie I do enjoy the rugged look of the basic work horse.😃

Yeah they say it’s a disease😂
I do. I like the rough and untreated surface of those movements. Seems odd but it does give off an industrial look
All watch movements fascinate me.

exactly how I feel..😀
All watch movements fascinate me.
hope we could collect more watches to see a variety of movements😀
I liked to see the movements in all my automatics when I first started collecting. Now, I prefer a solid case back unless it is a high end dress watch with a really decorated movement.
Not to mention these movements can easily survive 20 years or more without service😅

No nonsense movement indeed. Love that pop of green!
Reliable and robust indeed. 💯 Thanks! That pop of green can take on certain hues as well depending on the lighting...
