I got bit by the watch bug when I first saw Sean Connery look at his Rolex while watching a James Bond movie he was in (Goldfinger, I think). Also, Arnold Schwarzenegger wearing his "Arnie" watch in "Commando" and "Predator" helped rekindle it where I ended up buying my first dive watch, a Citizen Promaster quartz.
My interest increased during the COVID-19 outbreak and I have been in the hobby ever since.
