Those are totally different watches with totally different intended uses.
Potentially I would consider it, but not for that model of Spring Drive. I don't care for the appearance of that one. I think I'd be more willing to do it if it were one of the GS references that I like the looks of.
would no replace, but would simply add a GS to the collection
personally i prefer the Tudor

good point 👍🏻

Oh man!! 🤯 my wife will kill me hahaha
OMG! Would do it in a heartbeat!!! Enamel dial??? Spring Drive???
I think you just posted my next watch!!!
To me, the Seiko is the more higher-end and horologically interesting watch. However, they are two watches for two different purposes. The Tudor is a sporty "tool" dive watch, and the Seiko Presage is a dress watch with a glossy enamel dial.
As a newbie to the collecting game vs. the amassing game, yes I would trade.
I can get a good Dive watch almost anywhere and already have one. Getting a Spring Drive without spending additional cash would be a win for me.
1000% yes. That's it. Nothing further to add.
Swiss every time. The GS is a souped up quartz

Look who came home with me today…

im not bragging honestly my AD is the shyte!! lmao!! And he just told me he got and possibly coming tomorrow SJE081…ok this might be the last watch for me for the year 🤦♂️…my wife is going to kill me 😅

It is subtly beautiful… it‘s like seeing and dating a girl you know she‘s pretty but then you find out she fucking funny too… that’s how I feel about this watch 🤓
Yes the Tudor is a fucking tank! I agree… I decided to keep tudor and create a small collection called my “TWO Tudor collection“ not sure how to complement the red bezel I’m thinking either get the blue bezel BB or the Bronze not sure yet, since I think I’m might be done for now with my Enamel/Porcelein collection.

interesting point of view 🤔
That Tudor is gorgeous, very tough choice but I would not trade. That particular Seiko, just in my opinion and lifestyle, looks like it could be worn in fewer situations than the Tudor.
That being said, Spring Drive is such an amazing feat of engineering and problem solving and it just has too much of that cool factor—very hard to pass up.
I think if you’ve had the Tudor a while, and are comfortable with letting go, that you should get the Seiko.

SJE081...
Look, I'm not bragging either... but, this was the first girl I ever kissed:
Now, granted, she was babysitting me, and putting me to bed, and she let me kiss her on the cheek, but still...
I would only because that’s not my favorite Tudor. I wouldn’t if it was a Balck bay 58…
