To keep or let go?

I need to sell a few watches for my next purchase. This Damasko DS30 took me ages to get and it’s a great watch, a hard-as-nail everyday watch. To keep or not?

Do you wear it regularly? Are you planning to buy a watch that makes it redundant?

Without knowing either answer it's hard to give an opinion that's useful.

For what it's worth, I had a damasko da38 years ago and it is one of the few watches I regret selling.

I do wear it regularly, what I love about this watch is that I don’t have to baby it at all. I don’t think this will be made redundant by the new purchase.

That’s my fear that I will regret it. This watch is so versatile, works with almost any straps.

Best watches are ones you dont have to think about breaking it while wearing it.

Keep if it has sentimental value to you, let go if not.

Keep it then, I know I love my DS30 and it's not going anywhere.

That date window make it too cluttered for you?

I‘m only joking as Damasco and Sinn are so utilitarian as to make them boring to me. I know they are objectively good watches.

I just got a DS30 of these after wanting one for years. I’ve previously owned the DA36 twice, and have regretted selling them both times.
Is your second hand green or yellow? I remember my DA36 being very bright yellow. This DS30 second hand and date appear very much neon green.

Second hand is white. More I think about it, I think I should keep, I think getting another one is going to be difficult. Why did you sell and re buy ?

The DA36 was my first >$500 watch, and I purchased it when I was new to watches. I wanted to try everything, so I sold it, then purcahsed it again a year later only to sell it to try out other watches. 3 years later, I still regret it. IMO the DA36 is one of the best everyday watches ever. I love a day-date complication and arabic numerals. My only complaint is that the lume was far too weak to be useful.

Don’t tell me you sold it. Btw what’s your wrist size? I’m considering to get one but idk if it will be too big for my 6.5” wrist, specially as a daily
