Bummer! What were the issues with the watch that you got? They don’t pop up often on the forums, but if you set an alert you might get lucky!

You're going to love it. It's a really enjoyable unboxing experience too with all the extras!

I just picked up the same watch in DLC. Made my 2nd WC post about it. It's a fantastic watch isn't it?

I charged it up with my UV torch to get that effect, but yes it's a crazy amount of X1 in there!

The DA36 was my first >$500 watch, and I purchased it when I was new to watches. I wanted to try everything, so I sold it, then purcahsed it again a year later only to sell it to try out other watches. 3 years later, I still regret it. IMO the DA36 is one of the best everyday watches ever. I love a day-date complication and arabic numerals. My only complaint is that the lume was far too weak to be useful.

I just got a DS30 of these after wanting one for years. I’ve previously owned the DA36 twice, and have regretted selling them both times.
Is your second hand green or yellow? I remember my DA36 being very bright yellow. This DS30 second hand and date appear very much neon green.

Wow that one is equally if not more beastly. Seiko has a way of making huge watches work for almost every wrist though. I will say the one thing that gives me pause about owning watch is maintenance of the spring drive movement. I haven’t been able to get a clear answer anywhere about how much it costs, if there are any reliable watchmakers in the US that can service AND have access to parts. I’ve only heard terrible things about the Seiko USA facility in New Jersey, so I don’t want to use them. I also prefer not having to ship my watch overseas if possible.
