Max Bill to keep or let go?

Explorer has killed my collection. I have sold almost everything. Now max bill doesn’t get any wrist time, do I keep or let go?

Then sell it and maybe make another person happy with a beautiful watch :-)

Let it go and try to find something more interesting 😌

Let it go!

No point keeping it if it's not going to get worn - presumably you have a beater, if not replace the MaxB with something you don't mind getting bashed about for times when you don't want to risk your lovely Explorer. 👍

With a more elegant strap you have a dress watch in the Max Bill. Although the automatic version is maybe a bit large for that – maybe the handwound version instead? Unless you want to do it all with one watch 🤔

The problem is the explorer works as a dress watch. Good suggestion regarding trying different straps.

I have marathon mechanical as a beater, to be honest explorer is on for all occasion. I don’t think I am ready for one watch only, first world problem.

I feel very differently, but if you feel the explorer can also act as a dress watch then yes, sell the Max / shame to keep such a nice watch in the box or drawer!

Yup let it go but keep that brown leather strap. Will look awesome with the explorer!

If that is the quartz model, DM me, I’d be curious to see if the price is worth me taking it off your hands. I’ve always been interested in it.

That being said, objectively, I say keep it as it is a stellar office dress watch.

I can't imagine one watch meaning everything else gets no wrist time. As mentioned above, a good looking leather strap brings the Max Bill into dress watch territory, which the Explorer isn't when it's on a bracelet. I'd be tempted to keep it for a while and see how it goes.

Explorer has this hidden power, it killed the bb58

Explorer is the one watch to rule them all. Sell Max
