Weekend Custom Projects
Tried to give custom looks to these watches as they were getting very little wrist time — nothing major, just some touch of paint here and there.
The first watch is a Sonata with the Epson AX33A movement. Just painted the second-hand red to break the monochromaticity. Now it goes perfectly with red straps!
The second piece is a Chaps featuring a Miyota 1L45 quartz movement. It had a sub-second hand which I removed for a minimal look and drew the first Bengali vowel on top of the sub-dial. I know the paint job lacks finesse but I'm quite happy with the result.
