Been waiting for it a little bit, arrived two days ago. Bracelet is decent, clasp is stamped, as usual. This watch instantly placed itself very high up on my list of favorites.
Bracelet code is: M11S213J0 , approx. $100

Great looking! Does it have a screw down crown?

No. The usual push/pull crown like all other Seiko 5 models with this case design. 10 bar (100 m) water resistance stated on the see-through case back.

Ok, thanks for the information :)

Honestly, the more I think about watches with screw down crowns the more I begin to think about it from maintenance perspective. It often just feels like a point for watching enthusiast to just rag on a company for not doing. Like a neurosis. (Which is why I think no one should have been surprised when Serica’s 4215 was released with one).

I don't think screw down crowns add a lot of maintenance issues but prevent ever so slightly wear and tear of the gasket and add an extra, albeit small, security to the system which can be critical sometimes, specially if the watch is being used in active sporty situations which is my case sometimes. But I agree it's often overrated by us in terms of what it really does. For many years I have been using a 20 ATM watch with no screw down crown and the watch is still at least 10 ATM resistant but again, it's a quarz so I don't use the crown almost at all. But I have to confess that knowing a watch has no screw down crown makes me paranoid and I cannot shake that sensation away :D
