Even more Edifice love.
A long time ago, I decided that I want to buy the EF 527. But I kept delaying it because I had other priorities. A while ago, I was walking into a local market with a watch section and there it was: All Casios were 50% off. So, I got it.
I fell in love with this kind of dial, but the household names were too expensive for me.Especially since at this point I used up almost all my budget for this year. The pics are a bit older, but I havent fount the dedicated time to talk about this watch, again those delays.
So this Casio was a welcome find, especially at 50% off. It has a mineral glass, solid links (hollow endlings) screw-down crown and an inner ring to turn with the wheel at 8oclock. When not used to reset the chronograph function, the 4oclock pusher can be used to stop/start the orange seconds.
Altogether, a great daily watch.

Yes, its a wheel for rotating the bezel.

Edifice chronos are great, so many different models and variants, there is something for everyone.
My actual intention was to get the EFV-610DC-1AVUEF. After seeing the Porsche Design Orfina, I wanted a black chronograph in that style. It looks just so cool. This has to wait now.

Well done! The EFV-527 in blue is one my fave Edifices (Edifi??). Don't have one yet, but do have this Edifice Chrono:

The best thing is, the bezel has a actuall function. I dont like clutter for clutters sake. But function is fine. And it is a real stunner to look at in person.
