Depends on the trip but to be honest Ive been finding myself going with just 1 watch but in the past I've done 2. Usually I'll try to read the vibe of the trip and choose a watch that suits all situations. Once I pick the watch I'll definitely bring an extra strap or 2 for versatility purposes
Any watch and a G-Shock usually works for me
go without a watch and come back with a new one. Customs will leave you alone that way unless you take proof of purchase along with them. Scharzenegger found out the hard way traveling.

I absolutely love my Octo Finissimo! Everything about it. Really. It wears like a dream, it’s fascinating to the eye from the inky black dial to the one hundred twenty whatever case facets. The movement, the luxurious feel of its winding. A very very special product. Love the bracelet, unbelievable good. I have a 73/8” wrist that is pretty flat so it lays in like it was moulded for it. It doesn’t feel like any other watch and I check frequently that I actually have it on under a cuff. 6.4mm thick is the spec, I’ve never actually measured it. I’ve tried on titanium models but found them too light. I’ve got some dings in mine simply because I forget it was on my wrist, it wears that good for me.
Like the other two pieces in the photo it seems to be a love it or hate it watch. Try one on if you can and give it a few minutes on your wrist. It immediately feels unique, then that dissipates and you start to fall in love with Finissimo!

I’m so freaking jealous. Sounds just amazing. I want to get down to Las Vegas and find an AD where I can try one on. They just really fascinate me. Probably too spendy for me to actually ever get into one… but you know, never say never! You get yours new or secondhand?
New but there are some used showing up at unbelievably good prices. I look occasionally because I love the sketch dial! You’ll get one for sure! Most are not being used for daily wear from what I can tell. Used should be great condition for a great price! Highly recommended.
