People weren't kidding about Zelos launches, because boy was it a bloodbath

By some miracle, I managed to snag the Blacktip Meteorite GMT and I can't help but feel I won the lottery, because the moment it finalized, all models but the Teal variant pretty much sold out, all within 2 minutes.

That said, this is my first rodeo with Zelos, any other good watch recommendations with wonderful lumes? Signum is the next one on my list followed by the Seiko Samurai Black Manta. Id've gone for a Signum first but I've heard issues regarding their bezels that used to also be an issue with older Zelos watches but were addressed recently with their newer releases.

Thank you! I really hope Zelos lives up to the hype.

Same, new to Zelos too via the Aurora Titanium Field Moonphase with aventurine dial I snagged a few weeks ago. Honestly I can’t stop wearing it!

I like tuning into each of their countdown releases and watching just how fast they sell out. This release was one of the quickest and congrats on that watch.

Yeah I know all too well your experience lol. Tried for the Spearfish Burnt Orange Dial, bam it was gone. Took 11 months to find one brand new. Paid more for it than the 750.00 on their website.

I really love what they do!

Enjoy that watch!

Cheers!

Seriously great watch!

Congrats on the pickup! Lots of microbrands are killing it on lume these days, it's hard to go wrong! For me, my Seiko mods are the watches I have with strongest lume, so if you want to mod that's also a good way to lume up!

Sometime good things happens to those who deserve them. I know that I was floored when I went to buy my Horizons GMT and found that the there was still one last watch available in the combination that I wanted.

I still think that this bronze Horizons is one of my better purchases for my collection.

Congrats!!!! I got caught in limbo and my order didn't go through. By the time I got back onto the site, it was a wrap. Everything was sold out!

Enjoy!!!

Yea, it doesn't help when their carts start bugging out due to the high volume of orders. As much as I love their designs, I can't really blame people for giving up.

Lucky, I want to restrain myself from getting their next releases but the only exception I'll allow is if the Aurora series returns. Same goal as well, either Meteorite or Aventurine. I really love watches that go for the whole Space aesthetic.

Definitely love the space themed watches (hence the Moonphase aventurine and the singularity). Good reminder that time and space are interrelated but also still so intriguing. Wishing you luck! You might want to join the Zelos Facebook group. Some post their watches for a non-flipper price before going to the outside, usually because they didn’t connect with it when they received it.

Trying ATM but I'm still in approval limbo. I don't quite know the requirements to be accepted to the Zelos Timekeeper group but I guess the best I can do is wait.

Welcome to the Zelos club. Launch day is always a bit crazy. Glad to hear you were able to snag one.

I was able to snag the 38mm Teal Aurora (sold out in ~2 minutes) a couple of drops ago. It seems like Elshan (Zelos owner) is actively iterating on the drop process. He’s also contemplating stocking some basic watches (e.g. swordfish) for those who don’t want to deal with the launch day madness.

I second joining the Zelos timekeepers FB group. It may take some time to get in but Elshan is fairly active in there and the trade/resale options tend to be fair.

I purchased the Spearfish GMT with the meteorite dial and love it.
