The Grab & Go GADA at it's finest
Soooo first watch of 2023. First Citizen, first real eco-drive movment, first titanium watch, first watch I'm planning to let on bracelet, first screw-down crown and crown guard watch... This watch is a first in many ways for me.
Little backstory, I'm constantly looking for new "first time". For this one, I combined plenty of them but the major was a titanium and eco-drive watch. Nothing better than Citizen to walk this path.
I looked so many watches on several e-shops, and finally fall in love with this one. 39mm for a small 45mm lug to lug distance, a slightly curved sapphire glass, 200m of WR, awesome secondhand with a sword as counterweight and yellow pointer. I love the brushed titanium case and bracelet, the look of the crown, the polished pusher... I love everything in this watch.
In top of that, it ended that my fantastic wife and my closest friends, paid me the watch as my surprise birthday surprise present. I couldn't be happier than right now and wanted to share it with you guys.
I will make a proper review in few days.

I'm so happy with it, very soft and lightweight thanks to the titanium.
I just need to find out how to set the radio reception, think I have a hint.
Congrats! From what I understand, the radio reception issue does have a work around for those who are not in Japan. The Internet has the answers and I think there's at least one Youtube on it. I just set mine manually and have no issues.

Thanks mate, I found a webpage that emulates the Fukushima jjy time signal, just have to find the time and a quiet place to try it.

Is the titanium coated? I have a Seiko chrono titanium that had the same matte finish. Polished it recently, completely changed it.

Thanks mate, honestly I don't know if it's coated, don't think so. It's hardened by Citizen's "Duratect" treatment.
After the third attempt I managed to get the reception working and got my watch synced perfectly.
I downloaded an app on the Play Store and put the watch on the earplugs :
Worked in 6-7 minutes !

I think it is. Don't ever go near it with polish.

Thanks for the advice. I saw the pictures of yours. It loose the matte aspect but quite cool with the polish too.
