Thanks to the generosity of my best friend and a well-timed end of year discount code on Vario’s website, I picked up a new Versa. Gorgeous little watch!

Shoutout to @varioeveryday, for a superb customer experience! Not only did my watch ship fast (especially around the holidays) it arrived a full week early! They also sent an email with pictures of my watch being inspected and packaged up. My first Vario, but I doubt it will be my last.

The plan is for this 2-in-1 to replace my Rotary Cambridge and BULOVA Sinatra, and be a net reduction in my collection size.

I’ve been looking at this watch for a while. How does it wear, especially in the thickness dimension compared to the rest of the watch?

It’s definitely a smaller watch, and I suppose you could argue that the small “diameter” makes the case appear thicker in relation. But honestly, I think it sits just fine on my 7.25” wrist. I don’t really wear collared shirts with cuffs, haha, but if I did I think this would slip under without too much trouble.

I will say, I had to put it on one of my own straps, since the Vario one was too short for my wrist. I was on the last buckle hole.
