Today I present my Longines Opposition, a watch from the early 2000's, without a doubt with a very temporary aesthetic with those curved finishes and unidirectional brushing that surely in a few years it will tend to look out of date, however one of my guilty tastes of watchmaking, because when I was still a neophyte I loved two watches in general, those curved ones that I think were called coupole from Rado and this quartz Longines that I was able to get about two years ago at an auction for maybe 160 USD, which was a gift from me to me.
PS: when we talk about a watch with a 20 (19) life, are we already talking about vintage watches?

Wow that´s a fantastic collection, In fact, it is my favorite brand and I currently have three very chosen ones and my next one, which will be my maternal-fetal medicine graduation gift, which I am thinking of a master collection moonphase chronograph.

Beautiful collection
Love Longines Oposition (has only one p for whatever reason), it's the Y2K watch for me. We should call that vintage? Neo-vintage?
Another fan of the Oposition - really lovely watch and bracelet with plenty of different options at the time in dial colours, automatic / quartz, chronograph - there was even a square one.

nice collection!
Longines has an incredible collection a watches and designs. I don't know what lead you to mention Oris in the same breath. In my opinion Longines offers a watch for everyone and Oris is a lost sole which occasionally offers a nice watch. Longines is undervalued and underappreciated but I don't want their watches to become less affordable either.
This chrono speaks to me.

Really nice. Longines is my top 4 when it comes to watch brands that get me excited. I know most people look at high horology like that and I do too, but my top 4 when it comes to pure passion and nothing else are Longgines, Hamilton, Bulova and of course Timex. Right now I only own 90 Timex watches. lol, but will like to own one of each from those other three.

I did not know that it used a single "p", it is one of those watches that I looked at in the stores when I was younger and I think that neo-vintage it is the right term.

Yes, it is beautiful, I did not know that there is an automatic version.

In terms of undervalued I think both brands suffer a bit, however I agree with you. Longines has much more to offer such as style, design and of course a lot of heritage.

Very nice collection.
I love Longines as well, but in general I find that the brand gets the most love from Asian consumers and is often ignored by American consumers. However, when you look at units sold, Longines is always in the top 10 and usually top 5. Great heritage and a wide collection of beautiful pieces.
