Received the call faster than expected. What do I do?
3.5 months on the list for smooth bezel with oyster and green dial. I have only seen it with jubilee in person. I was hoping to get past tax season, since I know that I will owe Uncle Sam. I am a bit torn about pulling the trigger. I currently own 2 family datejusts: 60’s blue dial and a 90’s two tone. My other thought was wait for submariner or get a black bay with red bezel. Any tips?

I wouldn't normally advise this course of action but if the end of the tax year is imminent it makes sense;
Get a 0% on purchases for a limited period credit card deal & stick the cost of it on the card. When you're in the new tax year, pay off the balance remaining on the card.
No increase in taxes due, no interest paid & unsecured debt disappears in months.

More evidence that the Rolex shortage is abating. They are making more watches in response to the silly grey market prices.

If I was to get a Date Just this is the configuration I'd opt for. Smooth bezel and oyster, very nice.
That said, I like your idea of the Black Bay with red bezel. I have one, it's my favorite watch I own.

Hong Kong I have given up think I left my name one year ago in the end my explorer 2 was bought by my mother with purchase record and the last time I strolled in to get my Rolex silver date just wasn’t a very good experience
