Finally got a rubber strap for my Seamaster GMT

You ever spend 20 minutes fighting with spring bars only to realize you put the strap on backwards? Me neither, totally didn’t happen.

Anyway, I finally got a rubber Seamaster strap (eBay special, not OEM) for my Anniversary GMT since it never looked quite right on the leather strap (2nd picture)

Apparently it’s also taboo to have divers on leather which I guess I understand.

Feels like the watch just upgraded for sure.

I was just looking at this watch. Part of me wants on. Looks great on the rubber.

There’s a white dial version of this watch too that I’ll get someday. My white whale 😂

I have it with the original rubber and funnily never ever used this strap. I am a bit reluctant to cut it to put it at my wrist size. I ended buying the bracelet and it only leave it for a leather strap "hannart style" from 2arrows leather shop in Roma.

This strap you put is nice !

I like that steel bracelet, do you happen to know the reference number for it? Usually engraved somewhere tiny lol

1610/930 from the back of my mind.. would need to check but it's saturday morning 😎

At the Omega boutique (Genève) they asked me which one I wanted as this model also came on the bond bracelet. I prefer this "speedy" one.

I prefer this style as well. I have the 18mm version on my Peter Blake midsize

And current state of my watch (other reason why it's difficult to give you the exact reference of the bracelet) 😅

The movement is so nice looking considering they just hide it behind a case back

Yes and see how the waves seems more grey thzn when behind the glass? It might just be the lighing and the picture, but it called my attention.

Yeah I’ve frequently thought that my SeaMasters looked “foggy” but it’s just how the crystal looks I guess

Looks great. Just any FYI, I did the same until I spent forever getting the strap on. I finally broke down and purchased the OEM for my Blue Seamaster 300. I normally would say don't, but it's worth it. It's so soft and supple, it fits "OEM", and really dresses the watch. I realize that 250 is a lot, but honestly I feel it's worth it

Unfortunately the AD. The standard 20mm strap works flawless

$250 seems like a good deal, I was only finding them at $300

Also forgot to mention the best feature. The first keeper does not move and the floating one locks into the triangle hole in the very end. Makes it look super clean.

I guess my AD was being nice. It has been a year so maybe the price is up like every thing else. I would try to ask, you never know.

I recently decided to find a rubber strap for my Tudor ceramic and came across the company RubberB straps. Very happy with it. Enjoy the hobby!
