Birthday watch
This watch actually arrived 2-weeks so but I have held of wearing it until my birthday today. I personally think the now discontinued 40mm Racing model is wholly under appreciated. The dial is way more dinamic then I was expecting. It is vertically brushed so it transitions better inky black and light grey depending on the light.
I have kept coming back to this watch for years. 5-years ago I had a choice between a Tudor BB41 and one of these. I chose poorly. I never connected to the Tudor and sold it after a year for a loss and moved on but this watch kept called to me. I already feel more connected to the Speedy then I ever did the Tudor.
I was looking for a good used model when I found out Jomashop still had new ones for about the same price. Pro tip, check Jomashop's ebay store before buying from them. The prices are not always the same. I saved over $200 by buying via ebay.

I originally wanted the grey dial one but Jomashop sold out before I was ready to pull the trigger. The black dial was my second choice but in retrospect it was the right decision (for me). The black goes with more.
