How comfortable is your watch?

I love my looks of my Longines Spirit 40mm and the movement accuracy is excellent about+1 second per day. However my wrist doesn't seem to agree with it. The edges on the end of the lugs are very sharp and the edges of the case and crown are quite sharp too. The watch is a bit more comfortable after putting it on the leather strap (bought separately) as opposed to the butterfly strap it came with but after wearing it my skin feels irritated and it doesn't matter if it's loose or tight. Just wondering has anyone else experienced it with this or any other watch and have you any ideas to help improve comfort eg bund strap. I've only had the watch new since January so don't want to file anything down. None of my other watches cause problems apart from hair pull from a cheap metal strap on a low cost Casio. Thanks

That’s a shame it’s not a thick watch how about a leather bund strap to cushion it a bit.

I experienced something similarly annoying with my first watch over 1000$ a chrono which is just top heavy and no matter how I adjust it, it just keeps moving/rolling on the wrist. I still love the watch but it doesn’t get much wrist time because of the issue. Maybe a single pass nato might help. Makes wearing a watch more comfortable but comes with other issues, but I’d say give it a try it’s only an investment of a couple of bucks and might really help your problem.

I’ve had a tough time with some straps, as well. I wish I could just poke a hole between the one too tight and the one too loose! I mean, I could…but it would end up being one big hole and just make me mad. Lol

Consider selling it and buy the 37mm version?

It might get more comfortable after breaking in the strap, nice watch
