Price increase from January 1

Omega in February. JLC and Tudor are also raising prices. 

Is Cartier planning this as well?

My AD told me 8% for Tudor few days ago when I got my BB Pro

I suspect this was a good year for watch sellers with demand exceeding supply, hence time OK to raise pricing.

I used a very un-scientific method, with that being tracking price and delivery on several brands on Amazon (gray market).  This morning pricing is highest and delivery is weeks, with brands being Seiko (all price levels) and Longines (higher end).

As I said un-scientific!

I got it from a local AD and LOL to a discount, they're very hard to get here, but not impossible. Just avoid Chisholm Hunter (if you want to know why look at the review I left on trust pilot).

WoS on Regent Street here in London just told me for Tudor, 10% on mens watches and 20% on womens.

I heard this from an AD too. Which is very frustrating as I'm planning a purchase in the spring. Might need to bring it forward. But the cynic in me wonders if all the ADs are just trying to drive better sales over Xmas? Hit their targets / get bonuses? Who else has heard about these increases?

I was in JLC in NYC last week. looking at the green boutique exclusive Polaris.  They told me the same.  I said that’s a shame cause it’s no longer worth it (to me) over $10k.

lovely watch if you like green though.

I grabbed a Speedy this year so I’m probably a year or two away from another major purchase anyhow.

I spoke with official brands themselves.it is happening.  Of cos ads making the most of it too but still . Prices and logistics going up , metal , labour, energy.... 

Maybe its best to put down a deposit and secure the price now and then ull pay the rest when the watch arrives . ( I hope the cartier u want isn't in stock and hard to get model)

Looks a lil larger on ur wrist and tbh except the dial it's just boring  and that second crown.... no bezel.. tbh jlc has reverso and master ultra think. Rest of the collection needs to be refreshed.

If u want a nice sports watch I would suggest speedy 57 , glashutte original vintage 70s chrono or just todur pepsi gmt )

I think this is the first time I haven’t felt buyers remorse. That’s telling!

Like one man told me, recession doesn't effect the rich who buy these things ) regarding grey market u r correct, rolex changed the game.  But with all this Alabama business with patek , rolex and ap , ppl.started paying attention elsewhere . Enter omega )

Damnnn looking good . That bracelet is an cold weapon.  Throw it on nato and rubber strap )

I tried it on the nato and it just looked odd. Cause the thickness really shows with that. On the bracelet it sits a lot nicer and the thick issue evaporates. 
I already have my SMP on black rubber. 
And most importantly, this bracelet is amazing. It’s basically the Rolex oyster bracelet I can’t tell them apart. And this glidelock is the smoothest action I’ve used on any bracelet.
