The murph comes in at 38 or 42mm. If I were you I’d go cheaper and spend the extra money on doing something with your time after your exams. Timex, Casio, citizen are all good options. If it’s down to these two though, it depends on the style you want. The prx comes in 40 and 36 I believe (I’ll be corrected if I’m not right) and quartz or auto. The gentleman is 40mm. I’ve tried both and was somewhat underwhelmed with the gentleman but not a fan of the hype of the prx either (my own issue there, no comment on the watch).
Intrigued to hear what you go for. Congrats on finishing A Levels! Enjoy this holiday, it’s a doozy.
I'd go the Hamilton, it's a more timeless look. The Tissot PRX is nice but I wonder if the integrated bracelet trend might move on soon and you might start to think it looks a bit dated.

Had the Murph, kept it a couple of weeks, wasn't impressed - bad legibility due to lack of AR coating and the flat printed fauxtina numerals really don't feel very premium for the money.
Handled a PRX a few days ago, bracelet feels cheap and nasty to me.
Owned a few Alpinist's, they're the standouts from your choices. Very tough, stylish and popular without being a fad like the whole integrated bracelet hype.
Any Alpinist, I like the Laurel Alpinist reissue myself, but any of them are great watches. Buy used & get them much cheaper and spend the change on some posh straps 😉
But that's just my experience.
Good luck mate 👍🏻
And congratulations on finishing your A levels 🎉👏🏻👏🏻
Out of those I’d say the Gentleman, but I’m guessing you’re in the UK as you’re taking A-levels so I’d recommend a British brand m, Christopher Ward. Their 39mm Sealander is a little under £1000 on a bracelet and less on a strap.
Picked up the 35mm quartz PRX for under £200 new on sale earlier this year. There are good deals out there to be had on it. The 40mm quartz is also starting to appear secondhand in quantity for similar amounts.
In my opinion the Gentleman (automatic) offers the vest value for money, the PRX (Automatic) the least.
I don’t have a dog in this fight, but I’d be curious why you say that? Aren’t they similarly priced and spec’d? I haven’t done a lot of research into the plastic movements, but does the PRX use them and the Gentleman no?

Hi,the branding of "Powermatic" is irritating. It's not a single movement, it's actually a movement family. The PRX does use the C07.111 movement with plastic escapment and wheels (under the metal parts hidden).
The Gentleman uses the C7.811 everything steal and the hairspring is made of silicon...which you usally find in high priced movements.
The PRX Quartz has in my opinion the better price vallue ratio compared to the automatic as it has basicly the identical case and bracelet for half the price. But the dial of the automatic looks better.
But if you are looking for an automatic the Gentleman wins.
I am From Austria and we have something Like the a Levels Here but i called it a Levels so everybody knows what i mean @Matt84. Thank you for your recommendation i will consider it 🙏🏻

My mistake there’s a chance the import costs might push the cost of this over your budget then, at least it would if shipping it here to Sweden.

Depends entirely on which one you really like the most.
They all look great in their own respects but id wager the Murph is the best daily wearer.
A Timex.
The Problem is that the Hamilton Murph is maybe a little Bit too big For me but i have to check @AshKetchup

Or a seiko5 would be a great choice
Black dial Tissot gentleman, SARB033, that kind of vibe is what I'd go for if it were me
For that price https://www.traskawatch.com/
*I don’t have one yet, but on my list. And I’ve seen them highly recommend.

theres also a 38mm murph

The FC Classic Index would be also a good alternative
Or the Archimede Classic 200. Hardend steel case (not the bracelet), scratch resistant and 20ATM WR. With leather band you would under 1K
Or Circula Protrail, also hardend steel, scratch resistant, 150m WR, Abtimagnetic.

The others are considerably pricier new.

I’d vote the Gentleman or Murph. I like the other two as well, but for me they wouldn’t be as versatile.
