Mine is the second iteration of the Christopher Ward logo. It initially looked a bit awkward to me, but I've made my peace with it since 2015.
I think this was the original logo:
Does anyone have a watch with the original logo?
There was a logo just saying Christopher Ward squeezed in around the 9 o'clock position before the logo we have today:
What do people think of a brand changing its logo so many times? Is it a turn off? Or are people not fussed either way?

Good brand, crap name. Do like the new logo much more. Got one with the name written at 9 but I'm at work and it's at home.

I tend to agree. Would have been better if they got the branding right first time round. Even if they we just called 'Ward', CW is a bit too similar to CWC. Or just go with the Trident theme and call them Trident.
A combo of the name and new logo. While I don’t mind the name, I agree with @Inkitatus that the new logo is much more appealing.

I agree
Mike France once said in a video I saw somewhere that they just couldn't come up with a good brand name, so they just picked one of the founder's names which "sounded British" (if I recall correctly). I would assume that this is consequently also true for the logo, i.e. not much thought went into that.
They seem to have realised that this stuff is very important to market your watches and so they iterated a bunch of times until they got it right, or close enough at least. The resulting mess of logos doesn't bother me though. They make a good watch and seem to be moving the right way, can't really ask for more than that from anyone...
I Wish they changed it sooner, I really dislike the old logo and name , it sound like a mental institute 🤣, ......you will find crazy John down on the christopher ward.
It might sound petty but I won't buy watches with awful names, it just bothers me, there's a lot of micro brands I refuse to buy because of it.
Anyway here's my very early trident gmt

I think I have just gotten used to it now, and I do prefer the fact is says London underneath. But CHR. is just a bit messy.
My favorite CW logo implementation is easily this one:

I mean, yeah, easily their best one yet! 👌👌👌
My only CW. I dislike the brand's name and refused to buy one until they started making them without the name on the dial. As for the logo, I actually like it and think the mirroring of the two country's flags is clever.

If only the 2 flags logo had have been thought of right at the start.

I liked the new logo once I realised it wasn't an 8-bit Space Invader that had fallen over.
I know they've managed to irritate new people with each additional redesign. I'm on the side that their latest, purely graphic version is quite nice, and I always thought the offset one was at least an interesting choice. My CW has what I'm guessing was an in-between point, the sans type at 12, even though the other variants of the particular design all have the logo-only look instead. (If I'm understanding correctly.)
I like this fine, it's inoffensive, but I would've rather had had the flags.
On the topic, when is Wise going to do something about their logo situation? Such nice watches, but then the most basic type possible on the dial. When they already have an expressive and handsome "W" design referencing their Thai origin. It's baffling.
Totally agree. The new logo is fine, almost good even. My main problem is wearing someones (at least someone who hasn't died, so I can't make up my own stories) name on my wrist.
The recent anti-consumption campaign of donating 10% of revenue to a enviromental charity, instead of having a Black Friday sale does tell me he might be alright though (I know he's left the company).
I would still prefer a name change. Ward seems fine, then they might even brand themselves as "warding the British seas" by making quality pieces that lasts a lifetime while donating x amount to said enviromental charity. I'd be a fanboy then 😂

All very valid points. Arguably one of the biggest British {Swiss Made} brands... you would have thought they could play on that a little.

Ive never really understood why micro brands don't just buy and old trade mark like Smiths did. Gives some kind of history too.
This is my CW Dartmouth s1, I also like that it has no date.

That is very nice 👌
I like that crown and those pushers. Nice chrono 👌

Thanks, I know it's the older model but I like it's look.

I was on their mailing list and used to receive the magazine, but sure I only got it a couple of times and the it stopped. Or maybe I moved and forgot to update my address 🤔
I have a full set, it seems everytime we move I buy a new one 😂 to keep me on the mailing list. It's a nice archive of how the brand style and philosophy has changed so much in a short space of time.
Honestly the logo was the only thing that held me back from pulling the trigger on a c63 Sealander, as soon as they changed to the new flags logo I got one almost instantly! The new logo makes a huge difference to me personally but I also know others who couldn’t care less!

I did think the previous logos must have been a factor for some people.

If I could get my Dartmouth with the new logo I would but I don't like the changes to the new version.
It's a fairly new brand trying to find its way in a cutthroat industry. The many logo changes I perceive them as a teenager looking for its identity and progressively reaching maturity.
I have one with the infamous 9oclock logo. I bought it 3 or so years ago to experience it IRL, it's so well made that I ended up embracing the quirky logo and it is still in my small collection :)
Would I buy another one ? I don't know yet.
I definitely prefer the twin flags logo to the name logo. I don't think I would have bought this watch with the name logo, no matter how good the watch is.
My favorite CW logo implementation is easily this one:

When a watch is so iconic it needs no brand logo. That’s the pinnacle of design.
