Hello everyone.
I'm new to watch collecting... sort of.
Over the years I've bought watches, but not paid any real attention to what i was really buying, as in movements, complications etc. I do own a quartz Christropher Ward which I am very fond of.
Anyway, now I've done more research I think I'm better informed to start seeking some nice watches.
I am picking up my first automatic today. As popular opinion has it, and I like the look of it and it will wear nicely to work each day, I have bought a Seiko 5 Sports SRPD51K1. (I also got a 20% military discount too!).
I know what my criteria is for a watch collection and I'm glad I found Watchcrunch as a fantastic resource.

Welcome!
Yeah, you can't go wrong with Chris Ward. What auto are you buying?

Seiko 5 srpd51k1 in blue. Just picked it up. Very happy 😊
Welcome. Solid choice.
Also a quartz CW is not a bad watch. Could have been way worse .... like my Armani quartz 😬
Get a watch winder because it’s only just begun. 🤣
