I have an old titanium Casio pathfinder PAW1300, lighter and thinner than my Black Bay GMT. The Iron man I forget it is on my wrist. I have the ability to sleep anywhere, but the older I get, the more I wake up saying why does that hurt Or how did I hurt this body part.
I never consider wearing my iron man or Pathfinder at night. I have been shinning an 800 lumen flashlight/torch on my watches at night before I go to bed. I can see the time early in the morning. Now, I am thinking about it.
I am going to say JLC. This was was hard choice for me. It came down to taking clients and my wife out for lunch or dinner. The GS is a no mess dial, very clean and the movement is smooth. However, the complications on the JLC encompass the elegances of watch. Let’s be honest, I have three clients who are into watches and my wife will notice after while.
Watched the video yesterday. You made all good points. Tissot has a few good watches, the Gentlemen looks like a 69 or 70 Seastar. The PDX is another from their past catalog. You can’t have a platinum album with only two hits.
I tend to call one GMT a travel and the other office. Due to the their use and function. If you don’t travel but have to track different time zones for work; then the office GMT makes since. I slowed down traveling to 10% a year compared to 80 to 100%. I bought a travel GMT to meet my needs. Now a days your phone can track as many time zones as you want. So, is the smart phone a true GMT?
