Gotta say I love interacting with other people indulging in our nerdy hobby all of us, love it when some of you comment on my stupid rants (I do read every comment) really appreciate it this platform is class. The differences in tastes and opinions is so entertaining and interesting to me :)

I was on r/watches before here and felt myself becoming as much of a jerk as a lot of the others over there.
Saw a video by @Max joined up in May 2022 and been very impressed with the positivity, or at least the non-jerk attitude of most everyone.
Criticisms are mostly done in a constructive and non-confrontational manner. It's really a breath of fresh air.

I am new to social media, looked in on some videos on YouTube when I was rehabbing a badly shattered ankle enjoyed certain personalities but felt the info in many instances was just flawed but I was looking for distraction so didn’t matter. Saw a few videos with Max and eventually decided to join WC, sense that it really is a forum of persons who love watches. That is more than good enough for me.

Well, I occasionally get laugh emoji's when replying seriously. It's weird, but it happens.
I'd hate to enter into aggressive negotiations without cause. 😉🤣
It's not necessarily a WC problem as much as it is just a societal issue. People be using hieroglyphs to communicate whole ass complex meanings when the same emoji can be interpreted many ways. We ain't 4000 year old Egyptians.
