What can anyone tell me about this watch
My grandfather gifted me his old watch a while ago, took it to several jewellers who couldn’t do much with it and one offered to service it for about €400, I’m curious to know what anyone actually knows about this brand or this watch specifically cause I haven’t been able to find much about it. Also anyone who can recommend a good jubilee bracelet to put on it much appreciated.

Plenty of info and images available on google. Enicar has been around for awhile.

My 90 year old watchmaker( doesn’t get to work on my good watches anymore) once said simply Racine or Enicar is ok!

The Sherpa is pretty well known but I looked for ages and couldn’t find this exact model, it’s a strange brand doesn’t really exist anymore as far as I’m aware
Enicar declared insolvency in 1987. It is currently owned and operated by a Hong Kong company.
You could get/share more info on that watch by viewing/showing the caseback. 😉

Search YouTube for video info. I recall seeing some mentions of the brand.
Basic ETA based movements shouldn’t cost that much to service.
