Do you always want your next watch to be the best thing you've ever owned?

Each watch is different. I tend to buy watches for my primary collection for specific purposes. They are not competing for the same purpose thus comparisons are unnecessary.

I was going to say that the addiction is about novelty, the rapidly souring sweetness of something new and different. There are people pining for Scameti Spaghettic followups! I'm hoping not to have any further watches though.

It doesn't have to surpasse any of my watches in anything. It's got to be wearable or interesting that's all.

All I ask is that it is better than the one I did not buy.

My next watch needs to feel special for some strange reason, collecting watches for me has never been a linear logical affectation.

I lean toward B for sure, but I agree with TOwguy. Good question! It has to surpass all others in a sense, but there's no way its better than all of them in all senses, since I have a royale (4)
