Are jubilee style bracelets more comfortable?

I put on my metal bracelet again last night and hated it as usual. Now back to fabric.

It's just really stiff and something about it makes my arm feel weird. And it wasn't tight.

Jubilees always look comfy in photos but I don't have any to try. And I can't resize one in a store to try the comfort.

Are they better than regular bracelets? They look very flexible and hugging.

Thanks.

My wife has a Oyster bracelet on her watch and tried the same size watch with a jubilee and said it fitted so much better and much more comfortable, must be because the links are closer

Jubilee might not be any more comfy. May not fit the design of the watch but a shark mesh or a Milanese mesh are much more comfy metal bracelettes, if the look fits for you.

and thanks for the catcrotch shot.

Thanks. I don't love the look but I could try it.

And I don't see any crotch. I see a foot if that's what you mean. It's kind of a confusing photo.

Yeah maybe that's the reason. Thanks.

The closest that I have to a Jubilee bracelet is the bracelet on my 3861 Speedmaster. It's extremely comfortable, but I also think that part of that may be due to the prominent taper (it tapers from 20mm to 15mm).  I also think that getting a perfect fit is critical, so watches with on the fly micro adjustments tend to be my favorites. The Speedy doesn't offer that, but I was lucky enough able to get a pretty much perfect fit for my wrist.

Yeah I really need that quick adjust. My wrist changes size multiple times a day.

I'm just being a smartass because I made a post on it.

I wouldn’t bother trying a Milanese or shark mesh if you don’t like the look. If it ain’t your thang, don’t force it. Maybe this watch isn’t meant for metal?

Jubilees are comfortable. I have a rice bead and it's more comfortable than the jubilee.

I won't know until I find one and try it I guess. But yeah I want it to look like a fitted jubilee or something else that's good looking and comfy.

Also don't worry that's not a crotch it's just my pants.

My most comfortable braclet is a jubilee.

·

It depends on the quality. My best bracelets are the Ebel 1911 and the Rolex Jubilee. I have a cheap Jubilee and that one is not as good. Most bracelets are really bad unfortunately

As you can see, I'm a bracelet guy:

I find both the beads of rice and engineer style bracelets to be the most comfortable (not that I have a problem with any bracelets though).  In general, the smaller the links, the more flexible, and therefore comfortable the bracelet is going to be.
