A New Wait Begins…

Awesome!  That watch gives off such elegant vibes!  Like, this dude would be sporting it on his wrist, back in the heyday of international flight, martini in hand!

A few years back, I was in the Vacheron boutique just having a look around. The sales assistant saw me looking at the Cornes De Vache and offered to get it out for me to try on. It was in a precious metal and she saw my face when she told me the price. Then under her breath she told me to wait a week or so for an announcement. It was released in steel the week after. Still couldn’t afford it but it did look perfect on my wrist. All this considering I‘m not a big fan of chronographs, especially the ones with pump pushers!

The lugs on this just remind me so much of it - they’re so beautiful…like you chica…er, I mean chico…or I don’t know…it’s so confusing with your new name….😉😂

I am in the 6k range with the order, 1st 1000 ships this year, the remaining will land next year by May. So its a long way, I might almost forget I ordered and act like I am surprised when it shows up. My 1st watch with sector dial and Cornes De Vache.

Pls correct me if I wrong.. the limit is 10k ? or is it unlimited? Looks like they are not hitting their 10k demand anytime soon. The responds to this release seems to be muted.. and its their best one so far.  

I thought their plan was unlimited pre-orders for 10 days in this dial configuration. How do you know the current order numbers? it was near 7k when I ordered and there’s still a few days left so not far off.

The regular production series will be unlimited but we don not know the dial/colour configurations yet. It’s unlike the mecha-quartz run where once orders were satisfied, no more will ever be made.

I agree, it’s a nice looking watch - hopefully they can continue the good work from the mecha quartz versions

I was excited to see what the next FM release would look like but if I'm honest, it just didn't do it for me personally. Like the dial but not the lugs. But that's the beauty of this game right, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Stunning watch! You have such fabulous taste in watches: your Oris Rectangular, Longines Spirit with the champagne dial, and now this! I'm quite jealous 😅

Really like it. For the same reasons as you... the case is amazing. I jumped on the band wagon too. However, I would like it to have a laquered black finish instead of the textured black dial - think it would give a more dressy look.

But, why not? Maybe they won't produce that variant - hope not (because it would give me regrets xD)

Lacquer would look lovely.

I would like to think they’d stay away from a black on the subsequent production releases. Just as a Thank you to the early adopters….hope so anyway!

The watch is engraved with "No. 0530", not sure what the sequence started with; I placed the order within minutes of the start of sales.

Mine was in the 6900s!
